‘Abhi Toh Sabko Outsider Banna Hai’: Kartik Aaryan Opens Up About ‘Nepotism’, Reveals People From Film Families Try To Be ‘Outsiders’
Kartik Aaryan opened up about his journey in the film industry and how people from the film families try to become outsiders
Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan became a household name with the movie Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2. His monologue left everyone in awe. He went on to prove his versatility with movies from different genres. Having made a name for himself in the Hindi entertainment industry, he won the hearts of the audience with his charming smile and down-to-earth personality. The actor is currently gearing up for the release of his film Chandu Champion.
During the promotions of the same, he opened up about his journey as an outsider in the film industry and how people from the film families are trying to become outsiders now. In an interview with Ranveer Allahabadia, Kartik was asked about his thoughts on having his own kids and passing them the benefits of nepotism. Quoted by the Hindustan Times, he said, “Abhi toh sabko outsider banna hai. Jo hain bhi wo try karte hai ki outsider hi ho.” He went on to add that people who belong to film families meet filmmakers who can show off their talent more. The 33-year-old actor added, “For example, if I was from a family here (in the film industry), I would have been getting the same kind of exposure, that kind of director would have shown my acting powers in a different way because you have. That thing makes a difference many times that it is not an even ground. That even ground never existed. Maybe it has changed now, but it never existed and it is no one's fault.” ALSO READ: WHAT! On the work front, Kartik Aaryan was last seen in Satyaprem Ki Katha alongside Kiara Advani. He is currently gearing up for the release of Chandu Champion. The Kabir Khan directorial is based on life of India’s first Paralympics gold medallist, Murlikant Petkar. The film will be releasing on June 14. He will be next seen in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, with Vidya Balan and Triptii Dimri, Aashiqui 3, and Captain India. If reports are to be believed, he was approached by Sooraj Barjatya for a new film.
